How Do You Make Money Selling AMSOIL Products?

In 1973 AMSOIL founder and president AJ Amatuzio launched the dealer network after struggling to get his synthetic lubricants in customers hands using traditional retail outlets.

Mr. Amatuzio learned about a way to sell AMSOIL that allowed independent 1099 contractor dealers to register and start their own business. As they say the rest is history. Or was it? Fast forward 45 years, the world has become a very different place than in 1972 with the advent of the internet and new ways to market products. Over time AMSOIL has continued to grow the product lines and have shifted to embrace online marketing and sales. Very few if any other “home-based” business opportunities offers what AMSOIL provides to the dealer network. With professional online ad’s that direct new customers the AMSOIL online store as well as racing and influencer sponsorships AMSOIL Dealers as well as AMSOIL Inc continue to grow in market share. After a review of the original AMSOIL compensation plan, many new dealers struggled to understand how to make money as an AMSOIL dealer. AMSOIL Dealers earn commissions based on sales volume that runs through their business on a monthly basis. Secondly the outdated compensation plan seemed to unfairly reward dealership that had larger volumes at the expense of a new dealer just getting started.

With that said, on Oct 1st. of 2022 AMSOIL launches The Next 50 Compensation Plan. This new and exciting comp plan helps dealers easily understand how to earn commissions in AMSOIL with the target being to pay higher commissions “closer to the sale.” In the previous legacy compensation plan there are 8 different compensation percentages of payout depending on your monthly sales volume. Now there are 4 tiers of compensation based on volume. Each month AMSOIL will calculate all your sales activities over all your customers types; catalog/online retail, preferred customers, retail/installer, commercial accounts as well as the dealer sponsorship program. Based on that volume you will be placed in the tier level you earned for the month and receive a commission check.

After a long introduction and much anticipation, we are ready to launch The Next 50 compensation plan. This is the most significant change to the AMSOIL Dealer business model since its inception in 1973. The Next 50 plan represents major improvements that are based on research and feedback from AMSOIL Dealers. The legacy compensation plan worked well but as times change, so must we. It is my view that AMSOIL dealers are more than just valued customers; you are also our sales partners and need a compensation plan that is easier to understand and more effectively rewards you for selling oil. The Next 50 does just that while remaining true to our network marketing heritage that has been key to our collective success. The Next 50 compensation plan improves the Dealer opportunity and set the foundation for our future.

When designing The Next 50 compensation plan, we reviewed a wide variety of other income opportunities and I can state with confidence our opportunity is the best. Becoming a dealer requires low annual fees, no sales quotas and no inventory requirements. Dealers get to sell highly respected, well-known, industry-leading products, and are backed by a company that continually invests in the future. No more complicated credits, points or varying values according to customer type, just straightforward commissions for products sold. And AMSOIL Dealers get to connect with like-minded individuals and earn money while doing it. We have an exceptional opportunity to share.

What’s in store for dealers that have joined after Oct 2022?

First off, dealers that were registered prior to Oct 2022 are part of the legacy compensation plan for their business they obtained prior to Oct 2022. Any new business after Oct 2022 will be placed in The Next 50 plan. This will be a hybrid compensation for the foreseeable future according to Dan Peterson VP of AMSOIL Dealer Development. All new dealers registered after September 30, 2022 will only be on The Next 50 plan.

We have been AMSOIL dealers since 2000. We have come to understand the legacy plan and how to earn commissions because we studied to understand how to maximize our commissions and how to gain success in the old plan. We have waited several months to launch this page so that we could fully understand The Next 50 plan as well as be able to explain it to any new dealers that join our team to help them grow their AMSOIL Business. Sales Achievement Program

As you build your Dealership, we want to recognize various sales milestones along
the way. The Sales Achievement Program is an annual program that tracks sales growth from January through December. Your sales include personal sales and total team sales.

As you progress, you will reach new achievement categories and levels (Cups). Each achievement will be recognized in the Dealer Zone. Physical awards will be sent when new categories are achieved. And if you’re Customer Certified, you will receive a cash reward with your regular earnings payments for the month the new level was achieved.
