AMSOIL Dealer Fee Increasing July 1, 2025

AMSOIL is committed to providing the tools and resources needed for independent AMSOIL Dealers to succeed. To support these continued investments, we are increasing the annual Dealer fee to $100 in the U.S. and $130 in Canada effective July 1.
Why are We Increasing the AMSOIL Dealer Fee?
We have not increased the Dealer fee since 2017. This adjustment reflects the rising costs of maintaining and enhancing the Dealer network, as well as our ongoing investments to empower your success. Here are just a few ways we’ve enhanced the value we provide to our Dealers:
- Dealer Zone – reporting tools and vital resources to support your Dealership.
- Expanded marketing investments and opportunities – promotions, marketing tools, co-op support and market research that help you reach more customers.
- Additional support resources – Customer Service, Dealer support Technical Services and materials designed to grow your Dealership and drive success.
These enhancements ensure that AMSOIL Dealers receive a strong set of benefits and tools to remain competitive. Much like everything else, the cost to deliver those benefits is on the rise.
Automatic Dealership Renewal Discontinued
To streamline renewal and Dealer agreement processes, we will no longer off the autopay and 5-year prepaid Dealership renewal options starting on July 1. If you have selected the 5-year renewal option before that date, your Dealership will still be in effect for the full five years. If you previously selected autopay, you will need to actively renew online beginning July 1.

If you are reading this prior to July 1st, 2025 now is your chance to become an AMSOIL Dealer at the current pricing of $49.95 (US) $64.95 (CAD). This will lock you in for a full year of being an AMSOIL Dealer at the current pricing.

- You get access to wholesale pricing on AMSOIL products you can use personally as well as sell to others.
- An AMSOIL Dealership is an annual fee that helps dealers get access to important training, with First Class AMSOIL Dealer training, it’s worth many more times than $100. Bear in mind the AMSOIL Dealers zone if chalked full of great resources to help you become successful as a dealer
- AMSOIL pay’s commissions on all products you purchase as well as all products your customers and accounts purchase for the month. Dealers can begin right away earning commissions
- AMSOIL Dealer Certification program allows dealers to receive qualified assigned customers from AMSOIL Inc. These are customers that come to amsoil.com without a dealer they are currently working with. Certified customers can receive several buying customers per month. This is like free money!
- AMSOIL is a 1099 contract dealership. AMSOIL pays commissions monthly. All dealers can have either direct deposit or a reloadable debit card where your commissions automatically go to.
- AMSOIL Reports. Dealers have access to the Dealers Zone reports section where you can see all your current customers, what they purchased and how much you are earning in commissions. You can get names, addresses, phone and email on all customers or download to a CSV file to add to your own CRM
- AMSOIL Inc. Publishes a monthly Dealer Magazine. This magazine is full of information on operating your AMSOIL Business, testimonials, product training and information as well as awards and recognition for top Dealers.

Franchise Like Business Opportunity
Becoming an AMSOIL Dealer is a “Franchise Like” opportunity. While dealers don’t have to worry about territory assignments, they do enjoy Account Protection. AMSOIL Account Protection works like this. You as a an AMSOIL Dealer register a customer such as a Preferred Customer, Commercial Account, Retailer / Installer account or sponsor another AMSOIL Dealer. Those customers are now coded to your business as long as the are active and for a certain period of time after they become inactive. Lastly, thinking back to when we became AMSOIL Dealers back in Nov 1999 our costs to get started were pretty close to what the cost of becoming an AMSOIL Dealer today are. First the yearly registration fee was $30 US, but then we had to purchase the training manual for $35 and then to become a “Certified AMSOIL Dealers” we had to pay another $20 for the testing. Getting started back in 1999 was $85 just for the basics. We had very little website traffic, heck even cell phones, and computers were not really that available. Everything was paper based and we had to get in our cars and drive to see customers and prospects. Today it’s easier than ever to become successful as an AMSOIL Dealer. Many AMSOIL Dealers only work on the internet for new customers. AMSOIL name recognition has grown significantly in the last 25 years.
