This is what 200,000 miles looks like on a Honda four-banger. AMSOIL Signature Series Synthetic oil at the factory recommended intervals (which usually works out to 10,000-11,000 miles.)
I do change the filter at every oil change instead of every other change per the factory recommendation.
There isn’t a single bit of sludge here. This looks exactly like it did 170,000 miles ago when I had the valve cover off the first time.
