Yes that’s right, the signature slogan of Jiffy Lube (Every 3,000 miles) is finally going away. This is according to several news reports including USA Today
Who would have guessed? Since the early 90’s most vehicle manufactures have recommended between 5,000 and 7,500 miles as a “normal” service. Some manufactures have even stretched to 10,000 plus miles with oil life monitoring systems.
All those customers that have been told time and time again to change their oil every 3000 miles can now relax knowing that today’s oil is not like your grandfathers oil.
